Lam Research seeks an experienced Managing Director, Supply Chain to lead strategy, performance, and transformation of the global supply chain commodity organization. You will ensure supply continuity, optimize cost and inventory, and build strategic supplier partnerships that enable operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, sourcing, operations, procurement, or manufacturing.
• 12+ years of leadership experience managing global teams and complex operations.
• Proven success leading supply chain organizations in a global manufacturing environment.
• Strategic and forward-thinking leadership with executive presence.
• Strong business acumen and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global supply chain, sourcing, supplier, and commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead supplier selection, strategic partnerships, negotiations, and performance management.
• Drive cost, quality, delivery, and risk improvements.
• Ensure material availability and optimize inventory and planning.
• Lead continuity, capacity readiness, ramp support, shortage recovery.
• Build and inspire high-performing global teams across regions.
• Collaborate with Product Groups, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Ops.
• Lead executive supplier engagements, business reviews, escalations.
• Communicate supply chain strategy and performance to senior execs and suppliers.
