Job summary

Kawasaki Precision Machinery, U.S.A., Inc., headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Supply Chain Analyst to manage inbound flow of parts and materials, coordinate shipments from the UK and Japan, and maintain inventory levels to meet customer and business needs.

The role works with internal teams and freight carriers to ensure shipments are delivered efficiently and on schedule, while driving continuous improvement in the supply chain and supporting ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics, purchasing or supply chain.
• Experience with freight companies and international shipping.
• Knowledge of HTS codes and tariffs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production planning and operations to ensure materials are available.
• Coordinate and track inbound shipments from the UK and Japan.
• Maintain accurate logistics information in the ERP system.
• Advise on HTS code classifications and tariff issues.
• Lead continuous improvement to strengthen supply chain performance.
• Execute purchasing activities to meet quality, cost and delivery objectives.
