Job summary

Kasai North America, Inc. in Manchester, TN is seeking an Inventory/Procurement role to support manufacturing through cycle counting, scheduling, and inventory planning. You will coordinate the flow of parts between our supply base and the KNA plant to meet production targets.

The candidate will analyze forecasts, release material orders, expedite as needed, and ensure data accuracy. Requires HS/GED with college, 1–2 years procurement, and 2 years related experience; MS Office skills and ability

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED with either two (2) years College.
• 1-2 years Procurement experience.
• Two (2) years related work experience preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related software.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities will be Cycle Counting and Scheduling
• Plan and maintain inventory levels of assigned parts within established inventory policies and targets
• Coordinates the flow of parts between supply base and responsible KNA plant
• Analyzes forecast demand to plan inventory requirements and releases material orders to meet appropriate inventory targets and support manufacturing processes
• Expedite material as necessary to meet changing requirements; escalates issues as necessary to ensure customer requirements are met
• Confers with production personnel to clarify processing methods
• Edits source data to ensure conformance to pre-determined standards and identifies appropriate errors for review and resolution
• Responsible for processing requisitions, material release, tracking back orders and maintaining current product information files
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies
• Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer
