Job summary

Dometic, a global leader in the mobile living industry, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Operations in Elkhart, IN. You will manage supplier quality performance, lead PPAP validation for new products, and drive corrective actions across the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing, expertise in APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, and ISO 9001:2015, with travel willingness and strong collaboration skills to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality management.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA/Gage R&R, Cp/Cpk.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and statistical quality methods.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance and support lifecycle activities.
• Lead PPAP validation and supplier submissions for new products.
• Coordinate SCARs and drive timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Support internal audits and maintain QMS compliance.
• Provide guidance through APQP/PPAP processes.
