Job summary

Dometic, based in Elkhart, IN, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier quality during the product lifecycle. You will work cross-functionally with sourcing, quality, and engineering to ensure PPAP readiness, lead corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement on supplier processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least five years of manufacturing experience, with travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with supplier quality processes and systems, including APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality management.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA/Gage R&R, Cp/Cpk, GD&T, 8D, CAPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier quality and compliance with the Dometic QMS and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and maintain reporting.
• Lead supplier qualification and disqualification activities with Supplier Development Engineering.
• Drive PPAP validation and approvals for supplier components and new launches.
• Provide technical guidance through APQP/PPAP processes and assess process capability.
• Identify improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and share best practices.
