Job summary

Körber is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer in Irving, TX. You will analyze supplier performance, implement quality standards, and support cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain quality and delivery metrics.

You will conduct audits, develop corrective actions, and manage documentation for materials and reporting while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires up to 50% travel and a strong quality focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or Supply Chain Quality.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% as required by business needs, maintain travel docs and obtain security clearance within three months.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Continuous improvement mindset with willingness to learn and implement process and quality enhancements.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal and external quality standards
• Implement quality standards for on-site providers, review performance, and initiate corrective actions as required
• Conduct installation and supplier audits to evaluate quality performance and ensure compliance with established standards
• Develop and implement corrective measures to address delivery performance issues at both the installation site and supplier level
• Support cross-functional teams in developing supply chain quality processes and tools
• Maintain process and document control for material quality, including materials shipped directly to third-party suppliers
• Compile, process, present, and maintain procurement-related data for internal and external reporting
• Identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation related to quality and delivery performance
