Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to own supplier performance, manage quality processes, and ensure supplier conformance to drawings and specifications. You will address quality issues, lead audits, and support new product development to improve overall supplier performance.

The role requires collaboration with engineering and purchasing to drive corrective actions, maintain metrics, and ensure timely containment of issues; travel up to 40% is possible.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP is a plus.
• Ability to solve practical problems with multiple variables.
• Experience with ISO 9001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards, policies, and procedures for supplier quality and materials.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct supplier audits; report metrics.
• Lead supplier scorecard reviews with sourcing to meet quality and delivery goals.
• Support NPD projects and review engineering specs for supplier compatibility.
• Drive containment and root cause analysis for supplier quality issues and SCARs.
• Expedite product from suppliers in urgent situations.
