SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Auditor to act as the technical quality expert within the Strategic Sourcing Center of Excellence.

The role partners with Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, and suppliers to ensure robust quality systems and manufacturing processes across the supply base. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background with extensive experience in welding, fabrication, and supplier quality management, able to document findings clearly and drive complex

Formación

• 5+ years in supplier quality or related technical disciplines.
• Experience with root cause investigations and sustainable corrective actions.
• Experience reviewing drawings, tolerances, and welding processes.
• Experience with audits, process audits, and supplier development.

Responsabilidades

• Lead root cause investigations using structured methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
• Review welding procedures, specs, and quality records for compliance.
• Assess supplier processes, controls, and validation activities.
• Develop audit reports and track corrective actions and trends.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and suppliers to improve quality.
• Travel to conduct supplier audits and on-site problem solving (up to 65%).
