Job summary

Genfare, part of SPX Technologies, seeks a Supplier Quality professional to own supplier performance, develop and refine supplier processes, and ensure materials meet drawing requirements. The role involves audits, scorecards, SCAR leadership, and collaboration with engineering across the supplier base.

You will support New Product Development projects, review specifications, and drive timely resolutions to quality issues with suppliers. Occasional travel to supplier sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in Supplier Quality/Quality Engineering.
• Advanced degree plus 3 years of related experience is a plus.
• Experience with supplier audits, supplier scorecards, SCAR, NCMR, and 8D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier performance metrics and audits; maintain supplier scorecards and qualification processes.
• Lead supplier audits and report on performance metrics to internal teams and suppliers.
• Support NPD projects and evaluate supplier capabilities against drawings and parameters.
• Drive containment and root-cause analysis; champion Supplier Corrective Actions (SCAR).
• Review engineering specifications and collaborate with engineering to implement material changes.
• Travel up to 40% to suppliers to ensure quality and performance.
