Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Director, Head of Global Study Management to shape strategy and drive execution across a global portfolio of trials. The role sits on the Clinical Operations Leadership Team and partners with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Biostatistics, QA and Supply Chain to deliver programs that improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading global Phase I–IV trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Oncology, Rare Disease or Neuroscience experience preferred.
• Global study management leadership experience in pharma/CROs.
• Strategic leadership with functional design and vision setting.
• Strong financial planning and budgeting capabilities.
• Ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment across time zones.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic vision for Global Study Management aligned with GCDO & R&D goals.
• Lead Clinical Operations Leadership Team governance and resource planning.
• Foster high-performance, inclusive culture across GS Management.
• Oversee portfolio planning, KPIs, timelines, quality standards, budgets.
• Mentor GS leaders and build scalable capabilities.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Biostatistics, QA, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure ICH GCP compliance and inspection readiness.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for trials.
