Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking an International Community Ambassador in Tempe to help international students navigate ASU life and the local community. You will create a welcoming home, coordinate cultural programs, and work with the leasing team to engage and attract international residents.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English, with leadership experience and a passion for delivering world‑class resident experiences in a dynamic, student‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and English (speaking, reading and writing) required.
• Currently enrolled as a full‑time, degree‑seeking student, or a bachelor’s degree graduate.
• Prior leadership involvement (student organizations, resident life, peer mentoring, or similar).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage diverse populations and create programming for a global audience.
• Cultural sensitivity and openness to diversity; international experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.”

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advocate, leader, role model, and go‑to resource for international residents.
• Create and maintain a welcoming community for international students.
• Help residents transition into community living and the wider Tempe area.
• Plan and host weekly and monthly cultural events and resident programs.
• Coordinate welcome and farewell efforts around move‑ins and move‑outs.
• Develop outreach and marketing strategies to engage international students.
• Build partnerships with university offices and student organizations.
• Support leasing team in attracting and leasing to international students.
• Communicate rent and lease terms in Mandarin and English.
• Provide information on academics, student services, and campus resources.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold Peak standards.
• Adhere to fair housing policies and peak procedures.
