Indiana Wesleyan University is seeking a Coordinator of International Student Advising to join the National & Global unit. The role focuses on advising ISP (F-1) students from enrollment through graduation and post-graduation activities, including OPT and STEM OPT extensions.

The position requires a strong Christian commitment, three years in higher education advising, and knowledge of SEVIS/I-20 processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required; master's degree preferred.
Three years of experience in higher education with focus on advising international students (F-1) preferred.
Strong Christian commitment consistent with IWU lifestyle.
Experience with SEVIS, I-20 processing, and immigration policies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Advise and support ISP (F1) students from enrollment through graduation and post-graduation (OPT) activities.
Develop and implement advising policies and procedures with the ISP advising team.
Provide high-level customer service and problem resolution for international students.
Coordinate registration changes and assist with academic planning for degree completion.
Collaborate with campus divisions and external partners to address immigration and compliance issues.
Assist residency events and support ISSP student community online.
Use AI tools to support daily work activities within defined guidelines.
Maintain SEVIS activity as needed and support post-completion OPT processes.
