Twin Disc is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Racine, WI to lead global procurement initiatives and drive cost optimization across castings, forgings, and machined components. You will oversee supplier relationships, negotiate long-term contracts, and build a high-performing team in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and deep understanding of manufacturing processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in direct material sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven success managing global sourcing projects and supplier relationships.
• Experience sourcing from suppliers in India, China, or other international markets.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including metal castings, forgings, machining operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and supplier development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Strategic Procurement Initiatives: Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support company objectives and manufacturing requirements.
• Drive cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout the procurement and supply chain organization.
• Support long-term supply chain resiliency and capacity planning.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers across global markets.
• Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships, with a focus on India and China.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead corrective actions when required.
• Provide leadership and direction to buyers and commodity managers.
• Establish performance objectives and support professional development.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sourcing organization.
• Partner with Engineering to standardize components and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Work closely with Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to support production goals.
• Provide sourcing expertise for new product development and strategic business initiatives.
• Travel domestically and internationally to supplier locations and company facilities as needed.
