Twin Disc is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Racine, WI to lead global procurement initiatives and drive cost optimization across castings, forgings, and machined components. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in direct material sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven success managing global sourcing projects and supplier relationships.
• Experience sourcing from suppliers in India, China, or other international markets.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including metal castings, forgings, machining operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and supplier development experience.

• Drive cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout the procurement and supply chain organization.

• Partner with Engineering to standardize components and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Work closely with Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to support production goals.
• Provide sourcing expertise for new product development and strategic business initiatives.
• Travel domestically and internationally to supplier locations and company facilities as needed.

Position Summary

Twin Disc is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead global sourcing initiatives and develop procurement strategies that support manufacturing operations worldwide. This role will oversee supplier relationships, commodity management, cost-reduction initiatives, and sourcing activities across key manufacturing categories, including castings, forgings, and machined components.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong global sourcing experience, proven negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

What You'll DoLead Strategic Procurement Initiatives

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support company objectives and manufacturing requirements

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in direct material sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven success managing global sourcing projects and supplier relationships
• Experience sourcing from suppliers in India, China, or other international markets
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including:
  • Metal castings
  • Forgings
  • Machining operations
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and supplier development experience

Preferred

• CPM, CPSM, APICS, or related professional certification
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
• Experience supporting global manufacturing organizations
