Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking an experienced Architectural Construction Project Manager to oversee new stores and renovations across its global retail portfolio. The role focuses on delivering projects through design and construction, including procurement, vendor management, and construction administration.

The ideal candidate combines architectural knowledge with strong project management skills to ensure creative concepts are executed on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training in architecture or construction management and related fields.
• Experience managing architectural construction projects from design through closeout.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage budgets, schedules, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of new store openings, remodels, and global rollouts from pre-construction through closeout.
• Oversee construction administration, site coordination, submittal review, RFI management, and quality control.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Real Estate, and Operations and external partners to align scope, quality, and timelines.
• Facilitate bidding and procurement for materials, millwork, fixtures, and services.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve design/construction issues.
• Track milestones, budgets, and reporting; communicate updates to leadership.
• Support international projects with local code compliance and contractor coordination.
