Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking an experienced Architectural Construction Project Manager to oversee the delivery of new stores and renovations across its global retail portfolio. You will manage projects through design and construction, including procurement, vendor coordination, and construction administration.

The ideal candidate combines architectural knowledge with strong PM skills to ensure concepts are executed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in architectural construction management or project management in retail or hospitality.
• Hands-on experience across design to construction, including procurement and vendor coordination.
• Strong understanding of millwork, fixtures, and material specs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp/Rhino and MS Project or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of new store openings, remodels, and global rollouts from pre-construction to closeout.
• Oversee construction administration, site coordination, submittal review, RFIs, and QC.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and procurement plans for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Real Estate, Operations and external partners.
• Facilitate bidding and procurement for materials, millwork, fixtures, and services.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent.
• Track milestones, budgets, and reporting; communicate updates to leadership.
• Support international projects via local code compliance and permitting.
• Maintain project documentation including contracts and as-built drawings.
