The Walt Disney Company is hiring a Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (Cloud & On-Prem) in Celebration, FL. You will lead a diverse team across shipboard and shoreside environments, ensuring reliability, observability, and scalable infrastructure for guest-facing and operational systems.

You will drive DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD across both on-prem and cloud platforms, coordinating with Security, Software Engineering, and Product Management to support 24/7 global operations.

Competenze

8+ years of related technology experience.
Proven experience leading and developing technical teams, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development.
Experience managing both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
Strong experience with SRE, observability, DevOps, automation, and highly available systems.
Experience across global and/or 24/7 technology operations across multiple locations and time zones.
Experience with CI/CD technologies such as GitLab, AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, and/or Azure DevOps.
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Chef.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Rancher, VMware, and infrastructure provisioning.
Experience supporting SQL and Oracle.
Strong communication, people leadership, and change-management skills.

Mansioni

Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing team of Site Reliability and Systems Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
Oversee 24/7 monitoring, observability, reliability, and systems engineering across shipboard, shoreside, and guest-facing technology environments.
Lead the design, provisioning, and support of infrastructure across both on-premises datacenters and cloud platforms.
Advance Observability, DevOps, automation, and Site Reliability Engineering practices across DSE.
Oversee infrastructure and platforms supporting web and mobile applications, POS systems, payments, reservations, safety systems, and order management.
Drive infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, telemetry, monitoring, and highly reliable systems that support global operations.
Oversee Kubernetes, operating systems, databases, network infrastructure, and related technologies.
Partner with shipboard and shoreside teams to maintain technology reliability across international locations and time zones.
Manage team budgets, forecasting, billing, and related financial processes.
Support technical planning, estimation, and strategic technology recommendations while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business priorities.
