Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to lead spare parts sourcing for enterprise datacenter equipment. You will build a global spares program, qualify dual sources, and negotiate on-site stocking agreements to prevent downtime.

You will collaborate with reliability and site operations to forecast demand from maintenance schedules and installed base, ensuring parts are available when needed and inventory is accurately tracked across regions.

Qualifications

• Built or run a spare parts or MRO sourcing program for capital equipment where downtime carried a real cost.
• Qualified and dual-sourced suppliers across multiple equipment categories, and pulled a second source online fast when a primary vendor slipped.
• Negotiated consignment, vendor-managed inventory, or stocking agreements that put critical parts on site ahead of demand rather than after a failure.
• Linked spares inventory decisions to failure data, criticality tiers, and lead times, not gut feel.

Responsibilities

• Build the global spares sourcing program for critical datacenter equipment across sites and regional depots.
• Qualify and dual-source spare parts suppliers; tie min/max stocking to failure rates and equipment criticality.
• Negotiate terms to keep replacement parts on site before a failure occurs.
• Configure stocking strategies so a single critical failure never idles live compute waiting on a part.
• Partner with reliability and site operations to forecast spares demand and keep the catalog ahead of new equipment generations.
