Job summary

ASP Global is seeking a Director, Global Sourcing to lead the expansion of direct and indirect sourcing, building category strategies and cost-saving capabilities. The role will stand up the Indirect Sourcing function, drive strategy, and collaborate with the US and China teams from the Austell, GA office.

You will manage a US-based Sourcing Specialist and a China-based Sourcing Manager, travel internationally, and report to the Vice President, Global Sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA preferred for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive ASP Global's direct and indirect sourcing strategies across categories.
• Lead RFx processes, cost/market analyses, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Establish and manage the indirect sourcing function, IT, Legal, Marketing, and Administrative Services.
• Coach and manage a US-based Sourcing Specialist and a China-based Sourcing Manager.
• Travel internationally several times per year to support negotiations and supplier engagement.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure continuity of supply, cost competitiveness, and supplier performance.
