Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group in the United States seeks a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive category strategies, supplier selection and cost performance across regions. You will partner with engineering, operations and NPD to optimize design, cost, quality and supply continuity.

Based in Troy, OH with occasional travel, you will manage about $30 million spend and lead global tenders, benchmarking, and supplier governance to deliver value and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing/procurement within industrial manufacturing.
• Experience developing category and supplier strategies and leading global sourcing.
• Strong negotiation, contract and supplier risk management skills.
• Understanding of Lean, Kanban and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global sourcing processes and category strategies.
• Lead global tenders, supplier selection, contract negotiations and risk management.
• Provide market and supplier intelligence to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and New Product Development.
• Maintain supplier governance, dashboards and performance data.
