Job summary

Hayden Industrial in Tulsa, OK is seeking a strategic sourcing specialist to support global procurement and supply chain operations across North America, Europe and Asia. You will develop sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive supply continuity while reducing costs and supporting rapid manufacturing growth.

The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially minded, and highly organized, comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with global suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or related field.
• 3–7+ years of sourcing/procurement experience in industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong supplier negotiation and commercial management.
• Experience with global sourcing, international logistics, tariffs, supplier risk management.
• Proficient ERP/MRP and Excel capabilities.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for commodities and services.
• Identify, qualify, onboard, and develop suppliers domestically and internationally.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid analysis, and supplier selection.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and lead times.
• Drive year-over-year cost savings and supply chain efficiency.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews on quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, planning, quality, and manufacturing.
• Monitor markets, tariffs, logistics risks, and global trends.
• Develop risk mitigation, dual sourcing, and localization strategies.
• Support supplier development, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain sourcing documentation and ERP data integrity.
• Support make-vs-buy analysis and total cost of ownership.
