Job summary

BrainWorks partners with a global engineered-products organization to recruit a Director of Global Sourcing. Based in Fort Worth, you will report to the CEO and lead a small, globally distributed team responsible for roughly $75–$100 million in annual sourcing spend across diverse suppliers and regions.

This hands-on leader will shape strategy, rationalize supplier bases, and manage tariff and geopolitical risk while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Quality and Planning teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive sourcing or procurement leadership.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and international suppliers.
• Proven ability to develop and execute global sourcing strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Comfortable negotiating with suppliers and visiting sites globally.
• Experience managing supply risk including tariffs and geopolitical factors.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated global sourcing strategy across regions.
• Lead supplier rationalization and cost-improvement initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts and manage performance with key manufacturers.
• Manage a distributed sourcing team across multiple countries.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Quality and Planning teams.
• Monitor spend, supplier performance, and risk using Power BI and ERP data.
• Address tariff exposure and geopolitical supply risks as a core activity.
