Job summary

Fortive is seeking a Sourcing Analyst in Pittsburgh, PA to join the Procurement team. You will analyze and manage the company’s global commodity spend, align business needs for quality, cost, and growth, and lead cross-functional supplier initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years in procurement/analytics within manufacturing, with ERP/MRP, Oracle EBS, and MS Office skills. Occasional travel up to 10-20% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in global operations with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Data Analytics within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting characteristics of supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain high-efficiency, high-quality domestic and/or global sources of supply for materials and services.
• Execute commodity strategies and provide detailed reports, analysis, and sourcing presentations.
• Assist in managing the global supply base through supplier scorecards and business reviews.
• Source a wide range of materials to strengthen the global supply base and support commodity strategies.
• Develop RFQs to competitively bid, evaluate, and select potential suppliers.
