Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, Technical, Supply Chain, or Operations experience.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Aufgaben

• Develop, issue & analyze RFQ’s for assigned commodities or those areas directed by Senior Sourcing Manager / Senior Director.
• Under direction of Senior Sourcing Manager, assist with implementing sourcing agreements to increase supply assurance and improve Sherwin-Williams’ market position.
• Negotiate and resolve any claims or disputes concerning a supplier’s performance on categories managed.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement, cost savings, and risk mitigation projects for assigned categories.
• Identify and develop new suppliers.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials.
• Forecast pricing on assigned categories for top management budgeting and pricing decisions.
• Manage pricing verification and resolution of discrepancies.
• Develop written category strategies for assigned categories.
• Ensure strategy alignment with Package Engineering, Operations, & Marketing with total cost and assured supply objectives.
• Communicate to plants sourcing strategies, and market conditions impacting material supply.
• Ensure compliance with department policies, procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
