Job summary

Rehlko is seeking a Purchasing Lead to drive global sourcing from concept to completion. You will coordinate internal teams and suppliers to secure quality components at competitive costs, while managing supplier relationships and lead times.

Responsibilities include RFQ creation, data analysis, cost control, and collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to implement cost-reduction programs. Strong procurement experience and SAP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; CPM certification preferred.
• 2–5 years purchasing experience required.
• Manufacturing and electronics background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global sourcing initiatives from concept to completion, including RFQs, negotiations, data analysis, supplier reviews, and contract execution.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers to source new or existing products under global procurement policy.
• Act as escalation point for supply constraints and manage supplier relationships.
• Monitor costing files with Accounting and hold vendors to market accountabilities.
• Drive cost reduction programs with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Materials teams.
• Request and review quotations, consult on specifications, and propose alternative materials or methods.
• Provide management with recommendations for future sourcing strategies and supplier consolidation.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality to resolve material rejections and inter-department disputes.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/annual reports and ensure on-time delivery targets.
• Establish and maintain supplier stocking programs and standard cost files.
