Job summary

Franco Manufacturing Co., Inc. in Metuchen, NJ is seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our Sourcing team.

You will support end-to-end product development and production, coordinating specs, costing, POs, samples, and delivery timelines with internal teams and overseas offices. This highly visible role requires 5+ years of production experience in home, apparel, or related categories, strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and preferably BlueCherry experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience in home, apparel, accessories, or related category.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filtering, sorting, basic formulas).
• BlueCherry experience a plus; strong follow-up, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, enter, and maintain specs, patterns, and standards for production and product development.
• Partner with overseas offices to request/confirm costing, production details, and delivery information.
• Coordinate buy quantities and Special Item Sheets with Planning and cross-functional partners.
• Create Purchase Orders in BlueCherry and communicate changes to Planning; keep data current.
• Track samples, strike-offs, approvals, and comments; maintain a production sample calendar.
• Support reporting and exceptions management (e.g., late POs, cash flow issues) with supervisor approval.
• Conduct incoming sample checks (weight, size, color, UPC, packaging/put-up, descriptions).
• Coordinate with Logistics/Imports to provide vendor and PO details; resolve documents; communicate changes.
• Handle administrative tasks such as sample shipping/receiving, PO approvals, chargebacks, and A/P vouchers.
• Attend regular cross-functional meetings to align timelines, priorities, and status.
