Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and international logistics. You will identify and manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and agreements, and coordinate import activities to ensure a reliable flow of materials for operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in purchasing or procurement, strong negotiation and logistics coordination, and familiarity with ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or logistics roles.
• Experience in specialty chemicals, ingredients, manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management, international logistics, and import procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers based on quality and price.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements.
• Create and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely procurement.
• Track supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery and compliance.
• Coordinate end-to-end import activities and customs documentation.
• Communicate shipment status and ETD/ETA updates to stakeholders.
