Job summary

Record UK Ltd in Denison, Texas is seeking a Sr. Global Sourcing Leader to drive value-optimizing supply strategies for assigned commodities. You will lead cross-functional teams, identify sources, negotiate price and delivery, and manage supplier relationships.

The role requires international business experience, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and the ability to travel up to 25% to support global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field (or equivalent).
• Advance degree desired; MBA a plus.
• Seven plus years purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing with a Fortune 500 company.
• Strong commodity experience in global sourcing.
• CPA/CPM or Six Sigma credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads cross-functional commodity teams to create value-optimizing supply strategies.
• Identify sources and negotiate price and delivery for new components.
• Manage supply relationships within assigned commodity/commodities.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
• Lead competitive bidding processes and Make vs Buy analyses.
• Evaluate and report supplier performance metrics and scorecards.
