Job summary

Weatherford in Houston seeks a Sr Sourcing Specialist to build supplier relationships, negotiate costs, and develop agreements for Goods and Services across geozones and regions. The role reports to the Global Sourcing Manager and liaises with Category Managers to craft sourcing strategies.

You will lead RFX events, ensure compliant supplier performance, and drive cost-effective procurement across locations. A Bachelor's in a related field and 3–7+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–7+ years in sourcing/procurement.
• Ability to interact in English and potentially other languages relevant to the hub.
• Proficient with procurement processes and contracting templates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing plans with Operations and Category Management.
• Execute sourcing events (RFXs) and negotiate hard savings to reduce cost.
• Maintain up-to-date contracts and supplier records.
• Monitor contract performance, risk, and pricing alignment.
• Communicate sourcing decisions clearly to stakeholders and lead supplier meetings.
