Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2–3 years of global sourcing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing processes, quality control, and retail environments.
• Knowledge of import/export marketing, manufacturing relationships, QC/testing, and logistics.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and partnerships.
• Adept at negotiating with vendors, suppliers, regulators, and internal teams.
• Solid business acumen and analytical ability to interpret data for decisions.
• Advanced computer skills and quick learner of internal applications.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and shift focus easily.
• Proven ability to lead change and drive initiatives through collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage global sourcing initiatives across assigned categories.
• Lead new product development projects from concept to market delivery.
• Identify and onboard high-quality suppliers to expand the global network.
• Analyze bids and data to present actionable sourcing recommendations.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and build relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize sourcing effectiveness.
• Research capabilities, cost structures, capacity, and delivery histories.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization across the supply chain.
• Flag issues to stakeholders and drive swift resolutions.
• Monitor vendor performance on service, quality, and cost metrics.
• Track market trends in materials and labor costs to inform strategy.
• Maintain professional communication with contacts and leadership.
