Job summary

Spectrum Brands, based in St. Louis, Missouri, seeks a procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost reduction across Global Home Care & Global Pet Care units. You will guide material strategies, commercial agreements, and supplier relationships to support EBITDA and cash flow goals.

Lead cross-functional teams, evaluate suppliers, and manage multi-million dollar spend while collaborating with operations, marketing, and finance to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, technical field or related required.
• 5+ years experience in Supplier Management, Global Sourcing, Commodity Management, Program/Project Management, Finance, and/or Manufacturing Operations.
• Working Knowledge of SAP preferred or General ERP knowledge.
• Up to 25% travel required (especially in the first 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new sources of materials and services to meet short-, mid-, and long-term needs, coordinating multi-department resources.
• Manage/Lead commodity categories up to $30M in spend.
• Evaluate existing suppliers and compare with new alternatives to optimize the supply base and reduce costs.
• Assist Senior Sourcing Management with NPD and EPD projects to deliver best value and innovative products.
• Direct internal improvement initiatives, often leading a multi-functional team to meet objectives.
• Provide cross-functional support and share information with internal and supplier stakeholders.
