Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a seasoned Global Sourcing leader for Machines & Sub-Components in the United States, focused on implementing category strategies across Americas, EMEA, and China.

You will oversee regional leads and drive supplier negotiations, value engineering, and long-term supply continuity. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in strategic sourcing, strong technical knowledge of motors, gears, encoders, magnets, and electromechanical systems, and a proven ability to lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, manufacturing, or engineering leadership.
• Strong technical understanding of electric motors, gearless machines, encoders, permanent magnets, brakes, machining, castings and forgings, and electromechanical systems.
• Experience leading global teams in a matrix organization.
• Proven track record in complex supplier negotiations and executive stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including should-cost modeling and Total Cost of Ownership.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the global sourcing strategy for Machines & Sub-Components.
• Lead regional commodity leaders and the global category organization.
• Drive cost reduction, productivity, cash flow, and working capital targets via strategic sourcing and negotiations.
• Align supplier strategy, standards, and governance across regions.
• Provide operational support to Otis facilities and field operations worldwide.
