CTS Corporation in Indiana seeks a Global Commodity Manager to lead sourcing of goods and services across CTS Sensors and Mechatronics products. You will drive supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and shape commodity strategies to meet cost, quality, and timing goals.

The role requires strategic sourcing, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to launch high-quality products with best value throughout their life cycles.

Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent in General Business, General Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• 5-10 years of progressive purchasing and supply chain experience.
• Automotive or manufacturing background preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally ~10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of the business and align Commodity Strategy with CTS stakeholders across the product lifecycle.
• Develop and execute global commodity strategies including spend allocations, supplier negotiations, long-term agreements, contract creation and management.
• Analyze market trends, capacity and material availability to maximize benefits or offset risks.
• Own the commercial and contractual relationship with suppliers and serve as escalation point.
• Deeply understand commodities and provide commercial expertise across products and processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions.
• Source all goods/services per established strategies; initiate RFQs, evaluate quotations, and support make vs buy analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to contribute to CTS product strategy and CIP/VAVE initiatives.
• Initiate and implement cost-saving ideas with suppliers to boost commercial success.
• Manage sourcing for new programs within Advanced Purchasing and oversee extension/replacement business.
