Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Director for external manufacturing to lead strategic contract manufacturing, OEM, and sterilization services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years in global supply chain or logistics.
• Advanced degree with 10+ years in global supply chain and 10+ years managerial experience.
• Experience in regulated environments (medical device/pharma/healthcare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier relationship management and executive partnerships with contract manufacturers.
• Oversee commercial agreements and contractual obligations.
• Drive supplier performance, business reviews, and accountability.
• Ensure capacity planning, launch and ramp readiness.
• Shape manufacturing footprint and partner strategy.
• Manage supplier risk and business continuity.
• Provide project management and sourcing expertise to cross-functional teams.
• Develop and execute long-term strategies to optimize quality, cycle/response time, technology, risk and total cost.
