Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Director for external manufacturing to architect the strategy for contract manufacturing, OEM, and sterilization service relationships. You will influence executive decisions and drive operational excellence to scale new products from launch to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain or logistics.
• 10+ years managerial experience.
• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain or logistics and 10+ years managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier relationship management and executive partnerships with contract manufacturing.
• Negotiate and monitor commercial agreements and contractual obligations.
• Drive supplier performance, business reviews, and accountability.
• Pursue operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee capacity planning, launch and ramp readiness.
• Shape manufacturing footprint and partner strategy.
• Manage supplier risk and business continuity.
• Provide sourcing expertise to cross-functional teams across divisions.
• Guide long-term strategies to optimize quality, cycle time, and total cost of ownership.
• Mitigate risk and improve processes, leveraging technology and purchasing power.
