Job summary

Structure Therapeutics, based in California, seeks a Sr. Director External Manufacturing to lead all outsourced manufacturing for API and OSD, spanning drug substance, drug product, and packaging.

Reporting to the VP Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain, the role oversees CDMO partnerships, drives strategy and governance to ensure compliant, reliable, and cost‑effective supply for late‑stage and commercial programs. Travel up to 30% globally.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Significant external manufacturing and global CDMO management.
• Deep expertise in small molecule APIs and OSD products.
• Strong GMP, validation and CPV knowledge.
• Experience with late‑stage development and commercial launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the external manufacturing strategy and CDMO network.
• Develop scalable operating models and governance for partners.
• Manage API and drug product manufacturing end-to-end.
• Drive KPI governance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams for launches.
