Job summary

Watts is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to lead sourcing strategies for industrial commodities, including cast iron and valves, across global suppliers. This hybrid role is based in Andover, MA and requires collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Development to support launches and ongoing production.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in supply chain with 5+ in similar roles, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and willingness to travel ~25% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain.
• 7+ years in supply chain operations (industrial/commercial) with 5+ years in a buying/planning role.
• Experience with cast iron and valves.
• Experience delivering year-over-year savings in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute cost reduction strategies aligned with company goals.
• Lead supplier negotiations and project implementation for assigned commodities.
• Create and manage a Sourcing Cost Reduction Program (PPV & VAVE) funnel.
• Develop relationships with Engineering, Product Management and suppliers.
• Maintain a Supplier Risk Management Program focusing on capacity, quality and delivery.
