Job summary

New Era Cap, LLC is seeking a Sr. Coordinator, Global Sourcing to lead end-to-end product development and manage global supplier partnerships in Buffalo, NY.

This 100% on-site role requires coordinating with Merchandising, Design, Production, Planning, Logistics and Quality to drive timely, cost-effective results. You will oversee seasonal sourcing, supplier allocation, and development from prototype through production readiness, ensuring quality, cost targets, and on-time delivery across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Product Development, Merchandising, Textile Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in global sourcing, product development, or overseas manufacturing.
• Strong supplier-management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with PLM, ERP, and MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze quotations, negotiate costs, and improve margins.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute end-to-end product development and TAC.
• Execute seasonal sourcing and supplier allocation according to strategy.
• Coordinate development with global suppliers across regions.
• Manage sample development from prototype to production approval.
• Enter and maintain supplier data in PLM; ensure timely delivery.
• Review samples for quality, construction, materials, and embellishments.
• Communicate style exceptions before costing finalized.
• Develop and maintain sourcing reporting metrics.
