Job summary

New Era Cap, LLC, headquartered in Buffalo, NY, is hiring a Global Sourcing Coordinator to support our global sourcing strategy and product development.

The role collaborates with design, merchandising, licensing, and production teams to deliver on-trend products while meeting financial targets. On-site role with opportunities for growth, compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Product Development, Merchandising, Textile Design or relevant field preferred.
• 1–3 years of global sourcing experience; experience with global suppliers preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; PLM and SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to execute the product development process.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms and ensure reliable supply.
• Track milestones in product lifecycle timelines driven by development and production calendars.
• Interpret specs/BOMs and communicate with design and suppliers to optimize design and cost.
• Manage proto samples and ensure on-time shipment per calendars.
• Maintain proto samples packing, labeling, and storage to keep a clean workspace.
• Log development details in PLM with timelines and costing information.
• Monitor costs to support margin targets and reduce expenses.
