Job summary

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is seeking an Associate for Global Sourcing Operations & Compliance in the New York Office. This role supports social compliance, data management, vendor onboarding, and training materials to uphold ethical sourcing standards.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years in retail sourcing or sustainability, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset geared toward regulatory drivers in global trade.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 0–3 years in retail sourcing, apparel production, or supply chain sustainability.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with complex datasets.
• Interest in global apparel manufacturing, fair labor standards, and sustainable fashion.

Responsibilities

• Review third-party social compliance audit reports (e.g., SMETA, WRAP, SLCP) for tier-1 factories and suppliers.
• Maintain centralized supply chain databases and generate dashboards and weekly status reports.
• Serve as a point of contact for global vendors on compliance standards and onboarding requirements.
• Draft operational advisories, vendor manuals, and training materials on ethical sourcing and product compliance.
• Support the Director of Global Sourcing Operations & Compliance with ad-hoc tasks and benchmarking.
