Job summary

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead end-to-end pre-sales design and technical leadership across complex opportunities. You will translate business needs into innovative architectures, define service concepts, and drive bids with cross‑functional teams in a multinational setting.

The role requires 6+ years in IT, master’s degree, and strong English; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• At least 6 years of professional experience in Information Technology
• A relevant field-specific professional certification
• A recognized process or methodology certification
• Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of operating systems, networking, IT security, virtualization, and domain-specific applications
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience in training, mentoring, and coaching others
• Sound financial literacy and business awareness
• Experience in project management and quality management processes
• Advanced English (C1); German language is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead solution architect during pre-sales activities and customer pursuits
• Run customer workshops to capture business, operational, and technical requirements in English and German
• Translate requirements into end-to-end solution architectures and service designs
• Support RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, bids, proposals and customer presentations
• Develop and defend solution concepts with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with sales and account teams to shape opportunities and support deal qualification and closure
• Prepare effort estimations, service costing, resource planning, and technical risk assessments
• Present solution strategies, migration concepts, and transformation roadmaps to management and technical stakeholders
• Lead international virtual teams of up to 15 members
• Manage design, planning, and implementation of contracted services and outcomes
• Lead customer-facing architecture reviews, workshops, and governance meetings
• Drive alignment among sales, delivery, operations, vendors, and customers throughout the deal lifecycle
