Job summary

Social Capital Initiatives, a New York-based nonprofit, seeks an Executive Director to lead fundraising, partnerships, and strategic growth.

Based in the New York metro area with a flexible hybrid schedule, the ED will work with the Founder and Board to diversify funding, scale programs, and strengthen operations for global impact.

Travel, including international duties, may be required as the organization expands its reach.

Qualifications

• Fundraising expertise with major donors, corporations, foundations, and government funding sources.
• Demonstrated leadership with growth in nonprofit or for-profit organizations.
• Experience representing the organization credibly to communities served.
• Proven track record scaling organizations and expanding programs.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Experience leading diverse global teams and public speaking.
• Commitment to international development and community empowerment.

• Fundraising & Resource Development: Drive growth through major donors, corporate partnerships, foundations, and government funding sources.
• Strategy & Vision: Lead strategic refresh with metrics for scaling impact.
• Partnerships & External Engagement: Expand collaborations to increase visibility and learning.
• Board & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain relationships with Board, donors, and partners.
• Organizational Leadership: Build and scale a global team aligned with mission.
• Operational & Financial Stewardship: Strengthen infrastructure and systems to support growth.
