Job summary

The Enough Project seeks an impact-driven executive director to lead the organization from its founder-led startup phase into a professionally managed, sustainable entity. This role will refine the vision, translate it into strategy, and build a team from 5 to 12–14 full-time members by 2029, establishing scalable operational systems and leading fundraising with co-founders’ support.

Transition plans include moving from fiscal sponsorship to a standalone 501(c)(3) structure, while nurturing

Qualifications

• 5+ years in executive leadership roles growing and managing teams of 10 or more people.

Responsibilities

• Set organizational strategy and translate it into actionable plans and OKRs with input from the team.
• Own hiring decisions, budget management, and operational oversight.
• Implement operational systems required for a growing organization.
• Track and report progress against organizational goals.
• Lead fundraising initiatives with active support from co-founders.
• Oversee the transition from fiscally sponsored entity to independent 501(c)(3) structure when appropriate.
• Hire, develop, and retain top talent aligned with organizational values.
• Manage and develop teams across the US and Europe.
• Build and nurture an organizational culture that embodies the values of “enoughness” and reflects the principles the organization promotes.
• Maintain and strengthen partnerships with wealth holder networks and philanthropic advisors.
• Support upstream work to help peer organizations and the broader ecosystem disseminate “enough” thinking.
• Ensure team members have clarity on roles, feel well-resourced, and remain highly motivated
