Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer for PCBA to optimize electronic assembly across global operations. You will work on site in Mequon and New Berlin, collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to improve quality, throughput, and cost.

Lead with DOE, SPC, and capital projects to specify, justify, purchase, install and release equipment. This role drives standardized global processes and DFMA integration with EAD guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in a relevant engineering field.
7–10+ years in electronic assembly manufacturing.
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) preferred; IPC‑A‑610 familiarity.

Responsibilities

Lead with expertise in PCB assembly processes including wave/ selective soldering, SMT, and conformal coating.
Codify global standards, procedures, and training to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase throughput.
Own capital execution: specify, justify, purchase, install and release production equipment.
Design DOE, apply control charts, monitor KPIs, and drive DMAIC/DMADV projects.
Partner with design teams on DFM/DFA and embed assembly requirements into EAD guidelines; lead technical reviews.
