Job summary

Nokia in San Jose, CA is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials for domestic and international factory logistics. You will support production schedules by safely operating equipment and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include preparing export documents, verifying PO receipts, logging inventory movements in our ERP, and communicating shipment status to internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of shipping/receiving experience, with international logistics exposure.
• Forklift certification preferred; safety with hazardous materials knowledge.
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and cross-departmental communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify international shipping paperwork and export documents.
• Move materials using forklifts and equipment safely.
• Process inbound/outbound shipments and inspect for damage.
• Track purchase orders and coordinate with procurement on late deliveries.
• Update shipment status with internal customers and log inventory movements.
