Job summary

AkzoNobel is seeking a logistics coordinator to coordinate outbound shipments for the finished goods department, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate shipping documentation. You will liaise with 4PL providers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve transportation issues.

The role requires attention to detail, strong problem solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prior experience with SAP Warehouse Management is beneficial, with a comprehensive benefits package offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound shipment process for finished goods.
• Serve as main contact with 4PL providers.
• Create shipping documents and maintain records.
• Liaise with customer service, sales, customers and carriers on transportation issues.
• Manage hazardous material documentation per 49 CFR regulations.
• Schedule carrier pickups (LTL, TL, Intermodal, Expedite).
• Monitor inventory, perform cycle counts and manage supplies.
