Job summary

Bentley Mills in California is seeking a shipping clerk to audit freight bills, manage inventory cycles, reconcile stock, obtain freight quotes and process UPS shipments. You will schedule returns and route trucks for timely deliveries.

Candidates should have 3 years shipping experience, forklift experience, knowledge of international shipping requirements, strong English communication and proficient math, Excel and Monarch data extraction; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 years shipping experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Knowledge of international shipping requirements.
• Excellent reading, writing and speaking in English.
• Intermediate to advanced math skills.
• Overtime including weekends may be required.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to use Monarch to extract information.

Responsibilities

• Audit all freight bills and input them into the system.
• Cycle inventory and reconcile stock levels.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and updates.
• Get freight quotes and handle claims.
• Process UPS shipments and complete end of day.
• Schedule returns and route/schedule trucks for shipments.
