Job summary

Siemens Software is seeking a Director, Global Service Delivery to lead end-to-end engineering support across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. You will own the SD function's strategy, operating model, and performance standards, guiding a large, distributed team of regional leads.

The role requires deep ITSM, strong budget and headcount experience, and proven cross-functional collaboration with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in infrastructure management, service delivery, or technology operations, including global leadership.
Proven track record leading large, geographically distributed teams.
Deep ITIL/IT governance knowledge (COBIT or equivalent).
Experience managing budgets, headcount, and resources at a global scale.
Demonstrated ability to drive transformation across complex organizations.
Experience in a matrixed, multinational corporate environment.
Excellent written and verbal English communication; comfortable presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

Define and execute global SD strategy aligned with GTI priorities.
Set the vision, operating model (Follow-the-Sun), and standards for SD across regions.
Lead annual planning: headcount, budget, initiatives, and OKRs.
Represent the SD function at leadership reviews and cross-functional forums.
Drive continuous improvement in service delivery maturity, tooling, and processes.
Own the end-to-end SLO/SLA framework globally.
Develop regional SD Leads and nurture leadership talent.
Engage with stakeholders and manage escalations.
Provide regular operational reporting to senior leadership.
