Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manager, Security Operations to lead site Security Operations across affiliate locations, ensuring protection of employees, facilities, and assets. You will oversee security personnel, emergency response, training, and cross-functional coordination to address incidents and risks that may affect AbbVie operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an area relevant to the position or equivalent experience; master's preferred.
• ASIS CPP or PSP certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive security leadership in a large organization or similar environment.
• Ability to lead security personnel and influence cross-functional partners across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, develop, and direct site Security Operations for assigned affiliate locations.
• Provide management oversight for proprietary site security personnel, including performance and training.
• Serve as Global Security point of contact for assigned affiliates with site leadership.
• Develop and maintain security and emergency protocols with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate responses to adverse events including security incidents, fire, and other disruptions.
• Provide timely security assessments and communications to leadership and stakeholders.
• Establish standards, KPIs, and service expectations for Security Operations.
• Provide project management support for Global Security initiatives and site transitions.
• Lead or support Security Operations Center operations as assigned.
• Manage security service contracts, vendor relationships, and contract compliance.
• Oversee financials for security operations including invoices and budgets.
• Coordinate Global Security training and outreach for employees and sites.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and security standards.
