Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead security strategy, risk management, and executive protection across regions. The role is fully remote and reports to the Global EHS Senior Director.

You will define policies, oversee crisis management, travel security, and investigations, and partner with IT, HR, Legal, and Operations. Requires 20+ years in security with 10+ years in leadership; heavy travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across regions and align to business priorities.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans, oversee access control and surveillance.
• Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive incident escalation.
• Define executive protection strategies and travel security program elements aligned with Danaher protocols.
• Execute in a cross-functional environment with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
